Often home owners connect with and hire trade professionals via classified ads; leading to high probability of delays and sub-standard work as there is no overseeing authority. Opun wanted to develop an all-encompassing solution that would provide homeowners with the means to hire reliable trade professionals and get jobs done.

The solution provides a reliable and secure online platform for people to get home improvement jobs done. From start-to-finish all activities in a home improvement job workflow - initial service request submission by home owners, to the preparation and sending of cost estimates and quotes by Opun staff, assignment of trade professionals to handle jobs, job/task scheduling, tracking of work progress, invoicing and payments - are handled by the solution.

The solution includes mobile apps (Android and iOS) that can be used by customers and trade partners to communicate with one another – messages can be exchanged and status of the work can be communicated via the apps.
